Alex is a skilled practitioner working across short and longform film, television, online, commercial, music video and video installation formats—with experience in theatrical distribution.
Formerly a Producer at EXIT Films and Sunday Gravy in Naarm/Melbourne, Alex has produced major brand campaigns for clients that have included Apple, Nike, Virgin Australia, eBay, VICE, Champion, Officeworks, Big W and Devondale.
Prioritising depth and impact, Alex produced creative work for exhibition at the Museum of Contemporary Art (MCA), Australian Centre for Contemporary Art (ACCA), National Gallery of Victoria (NGV), Art Gallery of NSW (AGNSW), won Shorty Awards and was nominated for an AACTA Award and an ARIA Award. Her short films have been programmed repeatedly by leading Australian film festivals (MIFF Accelerator, Sydney FF Dendy Awards, St Kilda FF), recognised with nominations and wins along the way, screening at some of the world's most selective international film festivals including the Telluride Film Festival in Colorado, USA. In 2022, she was named Best Producer by Firenze Film Festival (ITA).

Alex has a background in integrated marketing communications through her Bachelor of Professional Communications with Distinction (RMIT). She also holds a Masters of Producing from the Victorian College of the Arts, University of Melbourne, where in 2014 she was named VCA Producer of the Year. In 2024 Alex completed her Juris Doctor in Law at Monash University.
Alex was the Head of Branded Content at Sissy Screens, a not-for-profit that aims to celebrate queer creativity by, for and about the LGBTQIA+ community.
She brings this breadth to a multifaceted social practice that aims to create space for all artists to be critical.
